Job Title: Energy Engineer

Description: Energy Services Group is seeking an experienced Energy Engineer for developing energy savings based projects. Location is in the upper Midwest – our company office is in Wayzata, MN, but most of our employees home office. Qualified candidates should possess the qualifications listed below, be enthusiastic, team players and desire an independent work environment.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering – CEM and PE desired, LEED® Accredited Professional a plus
• Experience with comprehensive facility audits and analysis
• Lead and direct project teams
• Possess strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Working knowledge of facilities energy modeling software considered a plus
• Self motivated and self starter

Major Responsibilities And Duties:

• HVAC/central plant systems assessment
• Energy auditing
• Analytical modeling
• Develop energy conservation measures and facility improvement measures
• Proposal development
• Modeling, design and engineering using Excel spreadsheets, DOE 2.2, Trane Trace or other applicable software applications
